Man who shot at St. Louis cop previously charged with brandishing

ST. LOUIS – A man facing charges for shooting at an off-duty St. Louis police officer earlier this week has a prior criminal record that includes charges of brandishing a weapon.

The shooting took place around 10 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of South Kingshighway Boulevard in the city’s Tower Grove South neighborhood.

The St. Louis officer was working a secondary security job at a local business when a security guard at QuikTrip flagged him down. The guard told the off-duty officer there was a man, identified as Demetrius Ingram, 45, throwing rocks at vehicles…
