ST. LOUIS – A major St. Louis police operation targeting a condemned apartment complex Thursday morning in south St. Louis led to 63 summonses and 13 arrests. Authorities say the property had become a hub for violent crime and unsafe living conditions.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reports that the operation took place Thursday in the 3600 block of Illinois Avenue, located in the city’s Marine Villa neighborhood near Broadway.
