ALTON — A shooting on Wednesday evening in the 2200 block of Locust Street led to one victim being transported to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment. The shooting is under active investigation by the Alton Police Department, according to a statement provided by APD.
Police responded to a 911 call that someone had been shot at about 8:41 p.m. on Wednesday.
