Former St. Louis Alderman sentenced for scheme to inflate car repair costs

ST. LOUIS – Former St. Louis Alderman Brandon Bosley has been sentenced to prison in a high-profile bribery and insurance fraud scheme through which he inflated repair costs on a damaged vehicle.

On Tuesday, a federal judge sentenced Bosley to 16 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $63,000 to an insurance company he defrauded.
