As projects continue in downtown St. Louis to lift its profile, residents say more can and should be done

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The Gateway Arch and Busch Stadium draw millions to downtown St. Louis every year, but some say the draw cannot stop at just these two landmarks.

Downtown is vital to the region, and major projects are underway to improve it — but some think the city has to go even further.

But residents in downtown say new roads and sidewalks will only take the city so far in improving downtown.
