The Aliveness Project announced Thursday that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will not renew a $450,000 annual grant that supports the nonprofit’s HIV prevention work.
In a post on Facebook, the Aliveness Project leadership stated the federal grant has supported work in Minnesota for years. Aliveness used the finances to supply HIV testing, access to medication and care in the Twin Cities.
