One man was rushed to the hospital and another was taken to jail following a shooting in Savage on Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 5 p.m., officers with the Savage Police Department were called to the area of 143rd Street and Utica Ave. after multiple people called 911 to report shots fired. Police initially took multiple people into custody.
After their initial investigation, law enforcement determined the gunfire was the result of a fight between two people who knew each other.
