MINNEAPOLIS — Raul Guttierez, Jr. has pleaded guilty to stealing a rifle bag from an FBI vehicle during a confrontation on Jan. 14 between federal agents and protesters.
According to the plea agreement, an accomplice broke into the cargo area of the FBI vehicle and removed a rifle bag and ammunition. The agreement goes on to say that the accomplice then gave the rifle bag to Guttierez, who then carried it to his car and drove away.
Court documents say that there were two guns inside the bag. Guttierez didn’t know what was inside the bag, but according to the agreement, “he suspected it contained a firearm.” After opening the bag, Guttierez abandoned it. The accomplice then took the bag to his home…
