MARC Media Group is expanding its Florida radio portfolio with the pending acquisition of five stations just north of metro Tampa along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
The company will acquire simulcast stations “Nature Coast Country 103.3/104.3” WXCZ and WXZC, “Hits 106” WGHR, “Citrus 95.3” WXCV, and classic hits “96.7 The Fox” WXOF from licensee WGUL-FM, Inc., subject to FCC approval.
The stations serve Florida’s Nature Coast, an area known for its outdoor recreation, coastal communities and natural attractions including the Crystal River, Weeki Wachee Springs and Homosassa Springs. MARC says the stations’ combined signals extend north toward the Florida Panhandle…
