PALM HARBOR, Fla. — The Pinellas County Commission has voted to move forward with a study examining the possibility of replacing aging infrastructure on Lake Tarpon.
Commissioners say rising tides and powerful storms are beginning to overwhelm the nearly 60-year-old system that regulates the lake and protects surrounding communities from flooding.
