TAMPA, Fla. – Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputies arrested two teenagers Thursday afternoon shortly after a vehicle break-in at an apartment complex, authorities said.
Deputies were called to the Vista Palms Apartment Complex just before 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 17, 2026. The victims told responding deputies that a vehicle had been burglarized and provided investigators with the exact amount and denominations of the stolen cash. The victims also reported that the thieves took a small black backpack.
