A 24-year-old Pinellas Park man was arrested after deputies say he fled an attempted traffic stop at speeds exceeding 90 mph before crashing into a pickup truck on Seminole Boulevard Saturday night.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:05 p.m. on September 26, 2026, near Seminole Boulevard and 110th Avenue North.
According to a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit, Seneca Eamon Decastro was driving a 2026 Tesla westbound on 102nd Avenue North when he turned northbound onto Seminole Boulevard and failed to stop at the traffic light. A deputy who observed the violation made a U-turn and positioned his marked patrol vehicle behind the Tesla.
The deputy attempted to catch up with the vehicle, which investigators say was accelerating above the posted 45 mph speed limit. The deputy reported reaching approximately 70 mph while the Tesla continued to pull away…
