A woman is heard on police bodycam footage saying the 60-year-old teacher was conscious but felt faint. The teacher was taken to a nearby medical center for treatment.

“I thought I was dreaming,” the student tells officials in the video.

The student was questioned about allegedly hitting his own head and “trying to wake up.” He then says he heard echoes and that they were delayed.

The boy then admits that he began punching the teacher in the head as she told him to stop.
