TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on Monday released a video that they say shows a woman abusing a dog.
Imania Davis, 33, of Tampa, was arrested on April 30th and charged with six counts of aggravated animal cruelty.

An arrest report said Davis was caught on one of HCSO’s Eye on Crime cameras carrying a small, white male puppy by the scruff of his neck before throwing him approximately 22 feet away onto an asphalt road. When the dog walked back over to her with his tail between his legs, Davis kicked it, HCSO said.
According to HCSO, the video shows Davis hitting the puppy twice on the head before picking him up and throwing him again. The arrest report said the dog was vaulted 10 feet into the air before landing in bushes about 25 feet away.
The responding deputy reported finding the puppy on the asphalt, where he was visibly shaking, but did not try to move. Deputies drove him to an emergency veterinarian, who said the dog suffered a broken front leg and was bleeding from its nose…
