One of the country’s fastest-growing donut shops has arrived in Largo. Parlor Doughnuts is now open at 430 West Bay Drive in the Horizon West Bay development, with an official grand opening celebration set for this weekend.
The shop features creative donut flavors and signature coffee, as well as breakfast sandwiches, toasts, and breakfast tacos. We already have our eyes on the donut sandwich – bacon, egg and cheese loaded into a sliced, unglazed donut.
The star of the show at Parlor is their “Famous Layered Doughnuts,” a phrase for which the company even has a trademark. What does that mean, exactly? According to the company, it’s a “proprietary product with layers of buttery dough fried to be crisp on the outside and light/fluffy on the inside.” In other words: big, fluffy donuts with a slightly crispy exterior.
The donuts certainly look good, and given Parlor’s explosive growth since opening in Indiana back in 2019, they likely taste pretty good, too. The donut shop has a rotating list of options, all made fresh daily.
