Snapchat contact with Sweet Home teen leads to arrest of Wilsonville man

ALBANY, Ore. — Linn County deputies arrested a Wilsonville man in late May after a sex abuse investigation, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Deputies arrested Christopher Jay Webb, 34, on May 28, 2026, after an eight-month long investigation, the sheriff’s office said.

According to authorities, Webb used the Snapchat app to contact a 17-year-old girl from Sweet Home who was unknown to him. Knowing her age, he sent multiple images and videos of sexually explicit content of himself to the girl, the sheriff’s office said. He also solicited similar content from her…
