Salem officer found justified after shooting domestic violence suspect

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Salem Police Sergeant Jason Donner was found justified for his actions in an officer-involved shooting earlier this month by a Marion County jury on Thursday.

The shooting took place on June 11 around 7:30 a.m. at an encampment near the 3300 block of Portland Road Northeast.
