A 19-year-old Salem man died July 11 when his car went into the wrong lane of traffic on Highway 18 and hit a commercial vehicle head-on.
Oregon State Police said Jayce Alan Hall was driving a Honda Civic west on Highway 18 near Newberg and failed to make a turn, went into the opposite lane and hit an International truck driven by a 43-year-old man from Portland.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene. A 18-year-old passenger in Hall’s Honda, also from Salem, was taken to an unidentified hospital where he was treated with serious injuries…
