Albany woman accused of shooting boyfriend intended to “intimidate” him, court documents say

ALBANY, Ore. – Court documents revealed new details in an incident that left a man mortally wounded when his girlfriend allegedly shot him in the head earlier in January. According to a probably cause affidavit filed and signed by an Albany Police Department officer, officers responded to a house on 32nd Avenue SE in Albany at about 2:12 a.m. on January 25 after a 911 caller reported a gunshot after a domestic dispute. Officers arrived to find Lucas Forbes, 30, with a gunshot wound in his head, and arrested Hami W. Lee, 33, on charges including second-degree assault. According to the probable cause affidavit, Lee admitted to firing a gun during the 911 call and told the dispatcher she had “mistakenly pulled the trigger.”
