Salt Lake City’s Twilight Concert Series brings affordable live music to downtown venues

The upcoming Twilight Concert Series is a defining summer tradition in Salt Lake City that brings thousands of people together for live outdoor music.

The concert series, now in its 39th year, pairs nationally recognized musicians with local artists for unique and affordable concerts. It is known for its eclectic atmospheres and programming that draws audiences from across the region. Performances will be in popular downtown locations, including the Gallivan Center and the Salt Lake City Civic Center.

“We’re trying to provide music for different demographics,” said Dawn Borchardt, program manager of the Salt Lake Arts Council.

Affordable prices and variety

The Twilight Concert Series is supposed to be affordable and accessible. A general admission ticket for each concert is $20 and the season pass for all six shows costs $75. Also offered is a VIP season pass for $275, which provides additional access to premium seats and the VIP bar. “Live music is a really great way to bring the community together and it should be accessible to people no matter how much money they make,” Borchardt said…
