MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4) — After killing a woman and leaving her body near a dumpster, a man has been sentenced to up to life in prison.
Frederick Jason Edwards, 49, previously entered a plea deal where other charges were dismissed, and he pleaded guilty to one count of murder with a mental condition in relation to the 2024 murder of 25-year-old Esperanza Chavez.
Now, he is set to spend at least 15 years and up to life in prison, after being sentenced on Wednesday. He did receive credit for time served, for 893 days…
