DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) — The former Utah State Prison site is one step closer to being transformed into a housing development after The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority formally announced on Tuesday that it is seeking qualified private-sector developers.
The Point of the Mountain State Land Authority, an independent, non-profit political subdivision of the state, announced the release of a Request for Statements of Qualifications for one or more private-sector developer-builders to convert the land into approximately 50 acres of for-sale housing within the River District.
A Request for Proposals for shortlisted teams will follow the Request for Statements of Qualifications, which are due Aug. 14, with finalist teams expected to be announced by the end of August…
