SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC4) — Part of State Street in South Salt Lake was closed following a traffic accident involving multiple vehicles.
According to South Salt Lake Police Department, northbound State Street was closed from Claybourne Avenue to 2700 South, and 2700 South was closed in both directions from Main Street to Edison Avenue. The road reopened at around 3 p.m.
South Salt Lake Police Department said that the incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of 2700 South and State Street. It was a two-vehicle crash between a Ford Bronco and a silver Chevrolet van. The Bronco was tilted to its side, and two people who were in the van were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Bronco remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, which is underway…
