SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating a local chemical manufacturer and distributor for alleged criminal violations of environment and worker safety laws.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah, Thatcher Company, Inc., and its related corporations is under criminal investigation related to environmental compliance and worker safety conditions.
