TRAFFIC ALERT: Nightly lane closures to begin on Mountain View Corridor

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — On Monday night, the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is set to begin nightly lane closures on Mountain View Corridor.

Every evening from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., drivers can expect sections of Mountain View Corridor to be reduced to one lane in each direction between 13400 S in Riverton and Porter Rockwell Boulevard in Herriman.

The overnight work is expected to continue through September and will consist of crews working to repave old segments of Mountain View Corridor. This is the final section of the roadway that needs to be paved before the next major phase of construction begins in 2027. The new pavement is expected to make commuting easier and keep traffic moving while crews build the freeway.
