MIDVALE, Utah (KUTV) — A cat named Toast was found alive days after a fire broke out at an apartment complex.
The fire forced hundreds of residents to evacuate and took firefighters more than 60 hours to put out.
“Toast’s family feared they had lost him. As the days passed without any sign of him, hope became harder to hold onto,” a spokesperson from Salt Lake County Animal Services said. “But today, everything changed.”
