A student at the University of Utah died in an electric scooter accident during their first week on campus.
The student, who was not publicly identified but was from California, died in the accident on Aug. 28, local outlets KSL, ABC 4, and KMTI reported.
“University officials are providing support and assistance to the student’s family during this difficult time,” a spokesperson for the university said in a statement to KSL. “We extend our deepest condolences to the student’s family, friends, classmates and all those affected by this loss.”…
