Wasatch Back Citizens Climate Lobby to host community discussion on nuclear energy in Utah

The Wasatch Back chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby will host a community discussion on nuclear energy in Utah. The event aims to bring together state energy experts and local residents for an evening of information and dialogue.

Featuring speakers from the Utah Office of Energy Development, the event is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on April 28 at the Blair Education Center at Park City Hospital.

“Public trust is crucial, which is why we’re engaging in this event,” said Emy Lesofski, director of the Utah Office of Energy Development. “We understand that the public has questions about civil nuclear energy, and we want to connect residents with information and subject matter experts so they can understand what role nuclear energy could play in meeting our state’s growing energy needs.”…
