LEHI, Utah (ABC4) — A Lehi man has been arrested and charged after threatening to kill his girlfriend and shooting up her daughter’s bedroom with an AR-15 when he was told not to come to family dinner.

The defendant, whom ABC4.com is not identifying to protect the identity of the victims, has been charged with six counts of felony discharge of a firearm (third-degree felony), one count of property damage or destruction with a domestic violence attribution (class A misdemeanor), one count of threat of violence with a domestic violence attribution (class B misdemeanor), and three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child (class B misdemeanor).

On April 12, the defendant reportedly got angry with his girlfriend, whom he lives with, when she told him not to come to dinner with her and their children because “he smelled of cigarettes and alcohol,” according to court documents…
