SALT LAKE CITY — The families of the adults with disabilities who died after being left in a running van plan to sue a disability services company and the state.
Colton Moser, 25, Mosa’ati Moa, 22, and Tim Jones, 39, were identified by police as the victims found dead in a van in West Valley City on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026. All three men were residents at different group homes in West Valley City.
On Feb. 13, 2026, caretaker Isaiah Vaughn Pulu, age 25, was charged with three counts of murder. According to charging documents, Pulu was approved to take the men on an outing. But he drove home, parked in his garage, and left the van running more than four hours with the men inside…
