East High celebrating 20th anniversary of ‘High School Musical’ with community event this weekend

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Calling all “High School Musical” fans! If you love the Disney Channel movies, don’t miss this chance to celebrate the 20th anniversary at its filming location right here in Utah.

The East High School Foundation is hosting The “High School Musical” Bash on Saturday, May 2, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at East High School (840 S 1300 E, Salt Lake City). Whether you’re a student, an alumnus, or a fan of any age, you’re invited to celebrate.

While the movie’s actual anniversary was in January, this community event is open to the public and creates a way for the public to participate.
