South Jordan police announce well-lit, 24/7 recorded ‘Safe Exchange Zone’

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah (KUTV) — The South Jordan Police Department announced its new “Safe Exchange Zone.”

“Looking for a safe place to sell or buy used gear, or exchange the kids with your ex?” the police department asked on social media. “The South Jordan Police Department has you covered.”

It’s located on the east side of the Gary Whatcott Public Safety Building at 10655 S Redwood Road, on the north end of the parking lot.
