MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4) — The City of Millcreek is expanding its fireworks restrictions to additional areas classified as high-risk, as recommended by the Unified Fire Authority (UFA).
Current restrictions include all areas east of 900 East and West of 700 West, including Scott Park and Sunnyvale Park. The expanded restrictions include the area between 700 East and 900 East within the boundaries of 3300 South and Empire Avenue.
This new area was classified as high-risk due to dry vegetation and its densely populated residential areas.
