It’s been years since San Antonio got its first and only Jollibee location, but now, the Filipino fast-food chain is eyeing the Texas city for a big expansion.
A media representative for Jollibee updated MySA via email on the international chain’s upcoming expansion into San Antonio, revealing they’re looking to plant at least 15 new locations across the Alamo City.
“While many QSR brands are scaling back, Jollibee has identified Texas as its next massive development opportunity, with San Antonio serving as a top-priority growth market,” the email said.
Jollibee is looking to tap into San Antonio’s “large Filipino-American community and military population at Joint Base San Antonio,” according to the restaurant’s media rep.
