SAN ANTONIO — Road closures, detours and construction delays are a part of daily life in San Antonio, and now the city wants residents’ feedback.
District 1 Councilmember Dr. Sukh Kaur is introducing a new survey on SASpeakUp. The survey is designed to better understand how, when and where residents prefer to be notified about nearby construction projects. Organizers said the survey takes into account real-world experiences, like encountering unexpected construction during a commute and the impact it had on residents’ day-to-day lives.
“Our office wants to make sure construction updates reach people in ways that are timely, relevant, and easy to access,” Councilmember Kaur said in a release. “By asking residents directly about their habits and preferences, whether that’s using navigation apps or social media, we can design a system that truly works for San Antonio residents.”…
