A familiar face on Alamo City TV screens will be saying goodbye next month.
KSAT 12 reporter and multimedia journalist Avery Everett announced her upcoming departure from the local TV station on Facebook, saying she’ll be leaving after “three unforgettable years.” In the post, she shared the news alongside photos from her tenure, including Fiesta at Market Square, a live stand-up, one of the historic missions, the KSAT 12 Storm Chaser car and more.
“This city welcomed me with open arms and gave me the opportunity to tell stories of resilience, celebration, heartbreak and hope,” she wrote in the Wednesday, May 27 post. “While I’m excited for what’s next, leaving this incredible community is not easy.
