A Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputy was suspended for 30 days last year after records say her actions led to an erroneous inmate release.
Deputy Joelyn Cruz, a detention deputy in the Adult Detention Bureau, received the agreed suspension Feb. 13, 2025, according to suspension records recently released by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
