A new affordable housing complex has opened on San Antonio’s Southwest side, offering 308 units for low-income individuals and families.
The complex, called Leon Creek Flats, is located at 7515 Holm Road. Councilman Edward Mungia spearheaded the project, which is located in District 4, which he represents.
“This is a huge moment for affordable housing in San Antonio and District 4,” Mungia said. “I could not be more proud that this development came to fruition deep in the heart of District 4.”
The complex represents a total investment of $69.4 million, of which $2.52 million is funded by the city’s 2022 Affordable Housing Bond. It’s also financed through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA)…
