NOAA issues El Niño advisory, predicts most significant impacts on San Diego this winter

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced El Niño has developed in the tropical Pacific after a prolonged period of above-average ocean temperatures in the equatorial Pacific.

NOAA issued an El Niño advisory on Thursday and predicts that San Diego will experience some of the most significant impacts during the winter months.
