SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A multi-vehicle crash has snarled traffic along westbound State Route 52 near Interstate 15 in the Kearny Mesa area.

According to a Sig Alert from California Highway Patrol, the crash was first reported shortly after 7 a.m., with officials noting it involved at least three vehicles — all described as trucks.
Authorities said the collision initially blocked all lanes of the freeway.
All parties involved were able to get out of their vehicles, CHP noted. It’s unknown if anyone was injured during the crash at this time.
By around 7:30 a.m., officials reported that one lane had reopened to traffic, though delays are expected to continue as crews work to remove debris from the roadway. A timeline for reopening has not been released.
