San Francisco chef Dominique Crenn is planning to close Le Comptoir, the Michelin-starred dinner counter inside Bar Crenn, while instead expanding the menu at the cocktail lounge.
Crenn announced the news Friday in an Instagram post, saying the vision for Bar Crenn, which she opened in 2018 on Fillmore Street, naturally evolved after the challenges of the pandemic.
“Our cocktail and lounge program has grown into an essential part of Bar Crenn and has been embraced and celebrated by our guests, friends, and community,” Crenn said. “As we continue this journey, we are entering a new chapter.”…
