SF proposal would expand protections for renters facing eviction

A new ordinance proposed in San Francisco would increase protections for renters facing eviction over unpaid rent.

The proposal, introduced by Supervisor Jackie Fielder and co-sponsored by five other supervisors, is also backed by Mayor Daniel Lurie.
