A woman in her 70s sustained major injuries Wednesday morning when a driver struck her in North Berkeley, authorities report.
The crash happened at about 10 a.m. in the 1800 block of Hearst Avenue at Grant Street, Berkeley police said in response to a Scanner inquiry.
