Even at a very early age growing up in Orinda, it was clear that Maxine Sharf loved food.
“My mom always tells the story of when I was a baby,” Sharf says. “She was with my grandma, and she fed me a banana and I wanted more. So they fed me another one, and then they fed me a third banana. [Finally], my grandma said, ‘I think that’s enough!’”
