Study Shows Californians Pay Some of the Highest Pizza Prices in the U.S.

Inflation is affecting the costs of gas, rent, and groceries for millions of Californians. Now, according to a study by NetCredit, pizza prices can be added to the list, too.

Across the nation’s 100 largest cities, researchers with NetCredit went on Grubhub and recorded the price of a medium cheese pizza across the U.S.’s ten most popular pizza chains. They did this to calculate the average price of a medium cheese pizza in the cities and states.

The study found that California was the state with the second most expensive medium cheese pizza, with a pie costing $18.85 on average…
