A popular Dana Point pizzeria, Truly Pizza, is set to open its second Orange County location in Laguna Beach on May 7.
The new restaurant, located at 320 N. Coast Highway, has rolled out a limited preview period, starting on April 18, which features a limited service and requires reservations.
Founded in 2023, Truly Pizza has quickly built a following for its American artisan slant to pizza-making, mixing traditional techniques with new methods. Its signature three-day fermented dough and “micro blistering” method, which creates a light, crisp crust, helped rank the restaurant ninth on the 50 Top Pizza USA list. Truly Pizza is also 48th on the prestigious 50 Top Pizza World rankings, announced last year in Naples, Italy.
