SpaceX, created by Tesla founder and Twitter CEO Elon Musk, recently launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying Starlink satellites from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa Barbara County. Fontana residents took to the “What’s Going on in Fontana” Facebook page, after witnessing the launched ves- sel in the sky around 8 p.m on April 6.
“The launch occurred today with a four-hour window opening at 4:03 p.m. PT,” one commenter noted, expanding on the context of the event. “The rocket’s booster is expected to land on a SpaceX drone ship in the Pacific Ocean.”
