SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KRON) — Officers with the Santa Rosa Police Department recovered two guns during two separate traffic stops over the weekend.
The first stop happened Saturday evening just before 9 p.m. Officers said they saw a truck driving recklessly, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic on Highway 101. The officer stopped the truck in the area westbound Highway 12 and Stony Point Road.
Officers identified the driver as Froyland Monroy, 21, of Santa Rosa. The officer saw a loaded handgun magazine inside the truck. Monroy told the officer he had a gun in the car and was detained without incident…
