(KRON) — What began as a routine traffic stop in Santa Rosa early Thursday morning turned into a significant seizure of drugs, paraphernalia, stolen IDs and a firearm. The Santa Rosa Police Department said an officer pulled a vehicle over for an expired registration in the area of College Avenue and Cleveland Avenue at around 2:51 a.m.
After pulling the vehicle over, the officer discovered that the passenger was on felony probation with a full search clause. Police removed the passenger and the driver, 48-year-old Bambi Bryant of Petaluma, from the vehicle.

While patting down Bryant, the officer found a glass pipe “commonly used for smoking methamphetamine,” SRPD said. The officer then conducted a probable cause search on the vehicle and found a loaded .38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver that belonged to Bryant.
Another glass pipe was found along with Vicodin pills. Officers also discovered identification cards, Social Security cards and checks — none of which belonged to Bryant or the passenger.
Bryant was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Jail for:
- Possession of controlled substance while armed
- Carrying a loaded firearm in public
- Possess of ID of 10+ persons
- Carry concealed weapon in vehicle
- Possess of controlled substance
- Possess of unlawful paraphernalia
Police did not identify the vehicle’s passenger…
