Sonoma Sheriff’s Wife Waives Preliminary Hearing in DUI Case

The wife of Sonoma County Sheriff Eddie Engram is waiving her right to a preliminary hearing in her DUI case. Natasha Whittinghill-Engram’s hearing would have been Friday. Whittinghill-Engram will return to court on February 16th to be arraigned on two felony charges. Last May, the sheriff’s wife was allegedly driving drunk when she crashed into a house in northeast Santa Rosa. Prosecutors say she had a blood-alcohol content of more than twice the legal limit.
